Discover the story behind Bare Earth Collective, a brand born from a love for natural New Zealand ingredients and a commitment to genuine, effective skincare. We believe in connecting with the land and supporting our local community.
Our inspiration
Bare Earth Collective was inspired by the land we call home. North Canterbury is known for producing exceptional grass-fed beef and we wanted to celebrate that quality by transforming one of its most natural, nourishing ingredients into simple, effective skincare.
Surrounded by the beauty of our region, we set out to create products that reflect the land they come from.
After seeing so many products filled with unnecessary ingredients, we wanted to create something different. We chose to use 100% grass-fed, North Canterbury beef because its a traditional nutrient rich ingredient that truly works in harmony with your skin. Every product is hand crafted in small batches, using only a few carefully selected ingredients.
No fillers, no harsh chemicals and nothing your skin does not need!
We are proud to support North Canterbury farmers and New Zealand suppliers, while creating skincare thats effective, natural and rooted in nature - nurtured by hand.
Our identity
We believe in keeping our roots close to our beautiful home. We choose New Zealand suppliers and North Canterbury farmers, supporting local businesses and keeping the journey from ingredient - to finished product, closer to home.
From the ingredients we choose, to the materials we use, every part of Bare Earth Collective is considered with care and purpose. Aotearoa is renowned for its clean, green landscapes and environments. Choosing 100% recyclable materials allows us to honour and care for the beautiful land we call home.
As Bare Earth grows, we want that growth to reach beyond us. A portion of our profits will be donated to causes that are close to our lives and hearts, allowing our journey to create a positive impact beyond the products we make.

We believe skincare should work in harmony with the skin using natural, purposeful ingredients, that nourish and support the skins natural lipid barrier.
Bare Earth Collective is also about where we come from and who we grow alongside. We feel incredibly fortunate to have found quality New Zealand suppliers, farmers and manufacturers who allow us to keep our products and production right here in Aotearoa. We love that this gives us the opportunity to work alongside other Kiwi businesses - the people behind the products. The makers, growers, suppliers and everyday businesses that support the real people and communities of New Zealand.
For us building a business isn't just about building our own brand. It's about creating connections, supporting other local small - medium businesses and being part of something bigger than ourselves.
